Historic OV Preservation spots open

Interested in helping preserve and protect the historic district? Mt Pleasant just announced 3 vacancies on the Old Village Historic District Commission. Applications are due Nov 25, 2009 and are available at the town clerk's office. Mission of the commission: to preserve and enhance the architecture of the Old Village, promote the economic and general welfare of the people of the Old Village, foster civic pride, encourage harmonious growth and development, and promote use and preservation of the historic district for the public. Meetings are the second Monday of each Month at 5pm.
